For the first time, the Chamber of Crafts Palatinate in cooperation with rema fertigungstechmin gmbh held the innovative training fair “Exciting Machining Perspectives” - #JUST DO IT on February 15th, 2018, where interested students meet modern training companies / centers.

First Rwandan trainees in the Palatinate

Starting in August 2016, the first young people from Rwandan will begin their training program at rema fertigungstechnik in Rockenhausen, Germany in order to become cutting machine operators. CEO Reiner Rudolphi has already met the three young Rwandans on his business visit to the Rwandan capital Kigali.

rema and Rwanda agree on training intitiative

The Rwandan State Minister for Vocational Education, Albert Nsengyiumva, and Reiner Rudolphi, CEO of rema fertigungstechnik gmbh in Rockenhausen, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday, 22nd June 2015, on a training partnership in Germany for young Rwandans. The signing took place in the Rineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs in the presence of Minister Eveline Lembke.

Training project “Exciting Machining Perspectives” in ROCKENHAUSEN / KIGALI, Rwanda. The training project “Exciting Machining Perspectives” will also be active in the Rhineland-Palatinate partner country Rwanda in the future. It is planned to train Rwandan school graduates in Rockenhausen.

Jazz and Swing for gourmets

An internationally known jazz star will be guest in Rockenhausen on Sunday, May 18th: “Joe Wulf and the Gentlemen of Swing” will be offering jazz and swing for gourmets from 11:00 am in the “Donnersberg Hall” under the motto “One day in New Orleans”.
